Meet Pastor Green

Earlene Morrison Green is the eldest of two daughters born in Lancaster, South Carolina, to Frances Taylor Morrison and the late Elijah Morrison.

Earlene is the proud mother of three children—Anthony, Cedric, and La’Doria “Shell” Green Lockhart. She is blessed with nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Throughout her career, she has worked with both Lance and Family Dollar Warehouse. However, her deep love for children led her to become a professional nanny. Over the years, she has lovingly cared for many families and is now semi-retired.

Early Education & First Start

She attended Lancaster Senior High, in Lancaster, South Carolina and Clinton College, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

In 1990, Earlene answered God’s call to ministry under the leadership of the  founding pastor, Rev. Waymon S. Jordan Sr., at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina, where she also served as a founding member.  She was later licensed and ordained by Apostle Mamie Wilson of Glorious Resurrection of Life Praise and Worship in Lancaster, SC.

Before founding True Love Fellowship in 2016—located in Lancaster, South Carolina, where she continues to serve as Pastor—she faithfully served as Assistant Pastor at Upper Room Ministry under the leadership of Apostle Toby Johnson.

Because of her unwavering love for God and His people, He called her back home to shepherd His flock at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina, continuing her commitment to preaching, teaching, and shepherding God’s people with love and humility.”

Foundation & Beliefs

Pastor Green is a woman of God who walks boldly in her calling. She stands firmly on Luke 4:18:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”

Loving God's People

Pastor Green wholeheartedly believes that Jesus is love, and that we are called to reflect His love to the world. Her personal motto is:

“If I can help just one person along the way, then my living will not be in vain.”
